We create small, carefully curated journeys to Scandinavia, Central Europe and South-East Asia – for those who want to truly get to know places, not just “tick them off”.

Each programme is created from a combination of knowledge, experience and local connections. We work directly with residents, artists, cooks and enthusiasts, so that each day of the journey becomes a personal story of the place itself.

About me

I am a guide with over fifteen years of professional experience.
I am a trained historian and lawyer, a graduate of the University of Oslo and the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. I have worked as a teacher, researcher and lawyer in schools and universities in Poland, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Today, I combine academic knowledge with a passion for storytelling — as a certified guide in Norway and a city guide in Stockholm.

I work in seven languages, including English, Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, French and Vietnamese, which gives my work a genuinely international dimension. I have collaborated with well-established travel companies such as Rainbow Tours, Orbis, Almatur, Sea Tours, Fun Club and Lidl Travel. My original programmes for Explore with Stas combine organisational experience with sensitivity to culture and people.

Nature is my element — sailing, kayaking, mountain trails and Scandinavian forests. During each journey, I bring together knowledge, a sense of humour and a calm pace, so that participants feel the trip is not only well organised, but that they are truly immersed in the rhythm of the place.

Areas of Specialisation

• Scandinavia: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland — nature, fjords, the Northern Lights, and life in the far north.

• Vietnam and South-East Asia: culture, history, cuisine, and encounters with local people.

• Central Europe: Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and the Baltic states — history and cultural heritage.

• Thematic journeys: nature, culture, spiritual life and ways of living, as well as history, European integration, and art.
  

Journeys with Explore with Stas are led with close attention to detail, local guidance, and a narrative that allows travellers to understand places, not merely to see them.

Staś is primarily connected with Sweden and the Nordic countries, as well as with Vietnam, where he works as a guide. For many years, however, he lived and worked in Poland, where he gained twenty years of experience as a tour guide. For this reason, he leads trips to Poland with genuine pleasure and supports the organisation of specialised journeys to his home country.

In addition, he works as a guide and tour leader in cooperation with several Polish and Nordic travel companies.
